Amethyst Candle Co.
Gabriela Cardenas-Flores
In the sleepy, sunlit town of Fillmore, California, Gabriela took a five-year pause from her career as an office manager to embrace the most rewarding role: motherhood. As her daughter grew and thrived, so too did Gabriela's yearning for creativity. The flame of inspiration struck one evening as she lit yet another mass-produced candle, its cloying scent lingering too sweetly in the air. There had to be a better way to craft an eco-friendly candle with an elevated fragrance, she thought. She set out to find the perfect balance between nature and luxury. Thus, she poured her passion into the molten wax, and Amethyst Candle Co. was born.
Named in honor of her late aunt, whose treasured amethyst ring Gabriela still holds dear, Amethyst Candle Co. became a memorial flame to the woman who lost her battle with breast cancer. The name was a testament to Gabriela's familial love and a pledge to craft meaningful, eco-friendly candles that would heal the heart as much as they would soothe the senses. Each fragrance she blended drew upon the whispers of orange groves and sunlit fields of her hometown.
